Lot 20, luxury copy Patek Philippe Reference 1518, a pink gold perpetual calendar chronograph made in 1948. It was originally sold at the prestigious Patek Philippe sale of 1989. The 35 mm watch is one of only 58 pink gold versions of the 1518 ever made, and one of the most important vintage references since it was the first perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch to ever be serially produced by any maker.

Lot 18, top fake Patek Philippe Reference 1563, is a possibly unique yellow gold split-seconds chronograph with luminous Breguet numerals, made in 1947. This is one of only three known reference 1563s, and the only known reference 1563 with a Breguet numeral dial. The reference was made famous when jazz legend Duke Ellington wore one at the height of his fame (his exact watch now resides in Geneva in the shop replica Patek Philippe Museum). The caseback of piece on sale is intriguingly engraved with the signature “L. Estée” and the initials “S.G.H.” The dial is different from the other two pieces known, with Breguet numerals more often seen on the steel versions. The numerals and track are set in hard enamel, and this is the only known example with the numerals and hands treated with a luminous material.

Lot 22, is a third series cheap super clone Patek Philippe Reference 2499 in yellow gold with a black lacquer dial and applied gold Breguet numerals, plus outer Arabic five minute divisions. It was made in 1963, and is slightly larger than the earlier series, at 37.5 mm. It is prominently described and illustrated in Patek Philippe Complicated Wrist Watches by Paolo de Vecchi & Giorgio Gregato (pp. 116 & 117, to be exact).
