The Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM is somewhere between “Goblin” and “Perrier” on the fictional Pantone chart that exists inside my brain. High quality fake Hublot watches have, rather conservatively, christened the color emerald green (a real missed opportunity for a Wicked x Hublot collab). I suppose I’ll have to wait until Watches and Wonders before deciding on its true hue. One thing I do know is that it will not read as muted.
The 44mm (a 2mm size increase from the last Big Bang SAXEM) polished green SAXEM case houses cheap super clone Hublot‘s in-house MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon movement. This caliber features a 22-karat gold micro-rotor positioned on the dial side at 12 o’clock, providing a minimum power reserve of 72 hours. The movement’s contemporary architecture is accentuated by three functional sapphire elements for the barrel bridge, automatic winding gears bridge, and tourbillon barrette, with the 60-second tourbillon carriage positioned at six o’clock.
What We Think
2025 marks the 2oth anniversary of the Big Bang. This almost certainly means a litany of Big Bang releases sprinkled consistently throughout the year. Which, as a fan of obnoxiously large early 2000s watches, and an obsessive of their place in the naughtiest zeitgeist, is obviously exciting for me, but perhaps less exciting for others.
